Elaine Yee
B. Arch, O.A.A., LEED

Elaine received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carleton University in 1992 and has been with Richard Chmiel Architect & Associates since inception in 1996.

Her well rounded experience includes new commercial construction, interior renovation, interior design as well as residential projects. Her skills include functional programming, design, contract documentation, and contract administration, and she has also had the opportunity to manage both LEED-NC and LEED-CI projects.

Her comprehensive approach to design allows her to develop projects on holistic terms, allowing her to move seamlessly from Base Building to Interior Design projects. She is a strong advocate of collaborative processes and effective communication, which has proven to facilitate successful project delivery. As such, she is comfortable managing a multi-disciplinary consultant team, and has worked on notable projects such as the Telus Regional Headquarters, Export Development Canada’s Headquarters, and the JDS Uniphase Corporate Headquarters
